Small Wonders
We want to create a business we can be proud of. Making little things special again, hospitality with
a capital H and natural, ethical products are the cornerstones of our company. For us, having hospitality as our top priority, it's all about keeping it human and putting people first. We want to treat others, as we'd like to be treated ourselves.

It's so important to be true to our principles, so we have to be conscious of the consequences of our actions, in both the short and the long term. And we do hope to leave things a little better than we find them and to encourage others to join us too, so we can be generous and make things even better.

Unckle Mick
For the last eight years, Mick Doohan has been a very respected guest of
Chalet La Maitreya, so automatically he became more or less the god father of Small Wonders. We've asked him to be the face of Small Wonders, while Mick truly understands the guests needs, because he travels our globe on a daily basis.

We were wondering if you'd like to join Mick's family. Don't worry, he isn't a weird old dude. He's just our way of staying in touch with the people who travel i.e. you. Mick emails you our news, he'll ask you what you reckon we should do next, gives you the chance to win presents or even a holiday and he'll also invite you to any nice events we might hold.

So this is the bit where we get a few more details. You know, what's your favorite shampoo, favourite holiday destination, and whether you like your fish steamed
or grilled.

Biological Products
We strive to do business in a more enlightened way, where we take responsibility for the impact of our business on society and the environment. This also means that we want to prepare your diner and breakfast with products that are genuinely good for you.
Each of our products should have a positive health benefit and be free of manufacturing shortcuts such as concentrates, flavourings or other weird additives that make food less wholesome.

Fairtrade
We sure aren't perfect, but we're trying to do the right thing. By offering fairtrade products, we try to have a net positive effect on the wonderful world around us.

Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. By requiring companies to pay sustainable prices, Fairtrade addresses the injustices of conventional trade, which traditionally discriminates against the poorest, weakest producers. It enables them to improve their position and have more control over their lives.

And we want Small Wonders to become a honest hospitality and a natural, ethical food and product company. Which means buying our biological products straight from the local farmers or having our overseas products like cotton, coffee, tea or chocolates etc fair-traded. of Unckle Mick's family

A traditional Oisans farmhouse in a stunning mountain setting, this is a catered chalet that bewitches you with rustic charm and authenticity. Thankfully the old house has not been too tarted up- it is not a chichi place pretending to be a farmhouse, it is a farmhouse. Therefore Lingayoni is a joy and proves that design can introduce a sense of calm, an atmosphere of peace and relaxation

The Oisans region is a true summer paradise and for mountain – and nature lovers it is the place tobe. Whether you are drawn to typical mountain sports or are more attracted by traditional pursuits, you will find an activity that will appeal to you:
-walking along one of the beautiful walking trails of the National Parc des Ecrins

-mountain bike enthusiasts: Oisans is tailor-made for you… to go wild!
-to all fans of winter sports: Did you know that you can ski in summer as well as in winter... only in a slightly warmer climate?!
Beside all these sporting activities Lingayoni is an escape destination, so we guarantee that you will enjoy moments of pure relaxation.

Lingayoni is a place of peace

From enjoying all the fun of the snow to feel great in the fresh air, in the magic of winter every day is a different experience. The Grandes Rousses ski-area is a heavens playground: 250 km of slopes, free-ride itineraries, a snowpark, a high altitude and an outstanding geographical situation combine to provide something for everyone, including children and beginners.
Vaujany is a beautiful village with an authentic atmosphere where the charm of the past is combined with the most mondern (wintersports) facilities. There is a fantastic and award-winning crèche in the centre of the village which can look after you children every day if needed.
You will need to book nursery services yourself but we can book ski lesson, book and collect skipasses, book and set aside the desired ski equipment and the attentive hosts of Lingayoni will advise you about a variety of wintersports activities.

Situated in one of the oldest hamlets of Oz en Oisans, Le Bessey, catered Chalet Lingayoni has an eagle's view of the Belledone Valley leading to the slopes of Alpe d'Huez- the gateway to one of the largest linked ski area in France- les Grandes Rousses.

For skiers it is pure magic. You cannot possibly get bored with the variety of slopes.

One of the highlights is being able to ski the longest black run in the world.

For (MTB) bikers it is more or less Mecca. You will find all the legendary Tour de France cols and downhill possibilities in the very neighbourhood of Lingayoni, with the absolute must-Alpe d'Huez- right on your doorstep.

Exclusive food

Each day we are trying to perfect our performance of the previous day
and by rediscovering products we have the desire to be innovative.

Creative chef

The chef's culinary creativity is based on professional expertise,
sensitivity, enthusiasme and very good regional products.

Taste those wines

'WOW' is the proper tasting note of our selection of wines.
We think life is too short not to drink great wines.

The dominant atmosphere of catered Chalet Lingayoni has something decidedly Asian about it and it comes not from the materials and ingredients but from the overriding calm of his location. At Lingayoni the loudest noise in the morning is that of the chef making you a delicious cooked breakfast.

This is sóóóoo cool that your are signing up! We’re not going to spam you, just once in a while;-)
